Agglomeration-lab Open Day

Agglomeration in metallurgy transforms waste residues into valuable briquettes, enhancing their properties for reuse, thus promoting a circular economy, reducing environmental impact, and increasing process efficiency and cost-effectiveness. It's essential for sustainable resource recovery and minimizing waste in metal processing industries.

Swerim has been actively doing research in the area of agglomeration. During this open day event, you are able to get some feedback from our industrial partners such as Vargön alloy AB, Envigas, Outokumpu, Carbomax etc. see our briquetting facilities, meet our experts and discuss the new business.
